Quick Installation Help (Read This First)
Regardless of you have a Mac or Windows operating system, you need to start by downloading the executable file. You can find that file on our home page and in any “Download Extension” banner.
Both Mac and Windows installations are the same. Download the extension and then proceed as usual. Need detailed instructions on how to do that? Just scroll down and read steps 1-3.
Also, please remember that SmartDeals is ONLY compatible with Mozilla Firefox (for the time being) – the extension only works with version 3 and up.
1. Download SmartDeals
Go to our Download Extension page or click the green button above that will take you to our download page. Click the “Install Now” button on the right.2. Install SmartDeals
Firefox will automatically recognize the download file. When it’s ready to be installed, you’ll see the “Install” drop-down notification. Click on it.
SmartDeals will automatically be installed. Firefox will then ask your permission to restart. Click “restart.”
3. Restart Firefox
After you restart Firefox, look for a little dollar sign in your toolbar – that means SmartDeals is properly installed and embedded in your toolbar.
To start using SmartDeals, click on the dollar sign to see if there are any deals available on your current site.
